Retro Mid-Fifties Cadillac and Oldsmobile Air Cleaners

All new steel, retro air cleaner that's based upon ht style and dimensions of the Mid-Fifties Cadillac and Oldsmobile Air Cleaners.

Measuring a whopping 18-1/4" wide, this is no wimpy, scaled down version of the classic design. It has the same external dimensions as the original oil bath unit, However this air cleaner uses an off-the-shelf 14"x14" paper filter element. The top is stamped from heavy gauge steel, fully spot welded together and welded together and painted with EDM primer. The electroplated base is also made of stamped steel and is designed to fit most carburetors and throttle bodies. It's even notched in the back to clear large diameter GM HEI distributors.

The air cleaner ships as a complete kit that includes he top, the base, a 14"x14" filter, a carburetor stud, a reproduction AC decal and a cool chrome plated  rocket shaped wing nut. Priced at $129.00, that's about half of what a rusty and dented one sells for on eBay and you avoid the hassel of the oil bath to paper element conversion.
